A little clarity before you start.
Which characters are supported?
Watermark text supports standard Latin characters, accented Western European letters, and common punctuation. Other writing systems are rejected with a clear message; they are not silently replaced.
Is a watermark a security feature?
No. A watermark is a visible mark, not encryption or copy protection. Someone with PDF editing software may be able to remove it.
