Documents stay on your device

PDF Studio reads the files you choose and processes their contents inside your browser. Document bytes, page previews, watermark text and exports are not sent to our servers. We do not use your documents for model training.

Optional local storage

When you enable “Save on this device”, the current project, original source files and editing history are stored in IndexedDB in this browser. Theme and language preferences are stored in localStorage. There is no cross-device synchronization. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to resume the project.

Disable saving and use “Delete saved project” in the workspace to remove the stored project. Clearing site data in your browser also removes it. Browser storage can be evicted, so download important work and do not treat local saving as a backup.

Website requests and hosting

Your browser requests the website’s code, fonts and PDF support assets. These are served from the same site. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, including your IP address, browser details and request time, for delivery and security. These requests do not contain your documents.

No tracking or advertising scripts

This release uses no analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. If advertising or analytics is introduced, this notice will be updated and any required choices will be provided before those services are enabled.

Contact information

If you contact us by email, your email provider and our mailbox provider process the message and any details you choose to include. Avoid sending sensitive documents; a short description and a non-sensitive sample are usually enough.

Your choices

You can use all current PDF tools without an account. Keep local saving off for temporary sessions, delete saved work when you finish, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
